Jordan Lattimore

Originally from Alberta, Canada, Jordan Lattimore has spent the past 12 years living in Costa Rica, where he has developed both personally and professionally within the fields of education, behavioral support, and mental health.

His work has centered on supporting students through individualized, compassionate, and evidence-based approaches that promote long-term well-being and academic success.

Jordan combines a strong background in psychology with years of hands-on experience working with neurodiverse individuals and adolescents facing emotional and educational challenges.

Living near the Nicoya Peninsula, one of the world's recognized Blue Zones, has further deepened his interest in longevity, wellness, mental health, and holistic approaches to human development.

Education

Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alberta. His academic background in psychology, combined with his practical experience in behavioral intervention and education, has provided him with a strong foundation in human behavior, learning, and emotional development.

Professional Experience

Professionally, Jordan has over 5 years of experience in behavioral therapy, particularly working with autistic individuals. In this role, he has supported the development of communication, emotional regulation, adaptive functioning, and social skills through individualized therapeutic approaches tailored to each person's unique strengths and needs.

In addition, Jordan has eight years of experience in education, working both as a high school teacher and high school counselor. His responsibilities have included supporting students experiencing mental health challenges, developing individualized learning plans, implementing modified curriculum strategies, and fostering inclusive learning environments that allow students to thrive academically and personally.

Recent Activity

Over the years, Jordan has remained actively engaged in the areas of biopsychology, nutrition, mental health, and human longevity. His ongoing interest in the relationship between lifestyle, brain health, emotional well-being, and learning continues to shape both his professional development and his approach to teaching and mentorship.
